Metal Velvet Coffee Ambassador Program Terms

1. Who operates the program

The Metal Velvet Coffee Ambassador Program is operated by Metal Velvet Coffee Company Ltd., Toronto, Ontario, Canada (“Metal Velvet,” “we,” or “us”). These terms govern your participation as an ambassador (“you”). GoAffPro provides the portal and tracking software; Metal Velvet operates the program and is responsible for ambassador commissions.

2. Invitations and eligibility

Participation is by invitation and subject to our approval. You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into this agreement. An invitation does not guarantee earnings. Provide accurate contact and payment details and keep your account secure. Accounts and referral links cannot be transferred without our written approval.

Before activating or promoting your link, read and expressly accept these terms through the acceptance process we provide. If an invitation activation does not present an acceptance checkbox, please confirm acceptance by email to hello@metalvelvetcoffee.com before promoting.

3. Referral links and attribution

Use the complete personal referral link supplied in your portal, or product links generated through the portal. Our standard referral tracking window is 30 days from the tracked visit, subject to the program’s attribution settings.

A coupon code alone does not establish commission attribution. A customer’s use of an otherwise eligible promotional code does not, by itself, disqualify a purchase already attributed to your referral link.

Tracking can be affected by consent choices, blocked or deleted cookies, browser or device changes, other referral activity, and technical limitations. Not every visit or purchase can be guaranteed to track. If you believe an order is missing, contact us promptly with available supporting details; do not send customer payment information. We will review tracking questions reasonably using available records. Repeated purchases are commissionable only where attributed under the program; this is not a promise of lifetime attribution.

4. Commission and eligible orders

The standard commission is 10% of the eligible product subtotal after discounts, excluding shipping, taxes, duties and other non-product charges. Any product exclusions or special rates will be communicated before they apply.

Orders must be genuine, paid and fulfilled. Your own purchases, fraudulent orders, cancelled orders, refunded amounts, gift-card purchases, and wholesale or resale orders are excluded. A partial refund reduces the commission proportionately. Buying on another person’s behalf to obtain a self-purchase commission is not permitted; genuine independent purchases by your audience are welcome.

Subscription orders and subsequent renewals are eligible at the applicable commission rate when tracked and attributed to you through the subscription integration. Renewal commissions depend on successful recurring-order attribution; they are not earned on cancelled or unpaid renewals.

Displayed earnings remain subject to order verification and adjustments. We will explain material adjustments on request. Commissions paid on subsequently refunded or invalid orders may be deducted from future commissions, with notice.

5. Customer discounts

Your referral link provides 10% off eligible one-time purchases under the current offer. It does not provide an additional discount on subscriptions. Subscriptions receive their standard 15% subscription savings.

Discounts do not stack. Customers who qualify for a separate offer, such as the email-gated Backstage Pass welcome offer, may use that offer instead, subject to its conditions. Do not promise every customer 20% off or additional subscription discounts. We may revise future customer offers and will notify ambassadors of relevant changes.

6. Payment

Payments are made in Canadian dollars using an available payment method selected in your portal, currently PayPal or manual Interac e-Transfer for eligible Canadian recipients.

We review and pay eligible commissions monthly by the 15th. At the time of review, the underlying orders must be at least 30 days old, paid, fulfilled and not subject to an unresolved refund, fraud or payment dispute. The 30-day wait is administered manually and may not match a payable label displayed by the software.

The minimum payout is CA$25 in eligible unpaid commissions. Smaller balances carry forward without forfeiture. Accurate recipient details are required. If details are missing or a payment fails, we will contact you and arrange payment after correction.

You are responsible for your own tax obligations. Any legally required reporting, withholding or applicable sales-tax treatment will be handled under applicable law; these terms do not make every ambassador tax-exempt.

7. Honest promotion and disclosure

Clearly disclose your commission relationship wherever you promote Metal Velvet through an affiliate link. For example: “I earn a commission when you shop through my link.”

Disclosures must be prominent and easy to understand, placed with the endorsement or link rather than hidden in a profile, expanded caption or group of hashtags. Use any additional audio, visual or platform disclosures appropriate to the content. Disclose gifted products when relevant. You do not need to state your exact commission percentage to customers.

Speak from your actual experience. Do not make unsupported health claims or suggest our coffee treats, prevents or cures diabetes or any medical condition. Do not misrepresent products, pricing, discounts, charitable contributions or your relationship with us.

8. Promotional boundaries and brand materials

You may share approved links and materials through your own social channels, website and lawful communications. No spam, misleading claims, fake reviews, cookie stuffing, forced redirects, impersonation, or publication of codes on coupon/deal directories is permitted.

Paid advertising using our brand name, trademarks or variations, and paid promotion of affiliate links, require our prior written approval. Do not register brand-related domains or accounts that could appear official.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable permission to use the brand assets we provide solely for this program. Do not materially alter them without approval. You keep ownership of your original content; participation does not transfer it to us. We will seek separate permission for reuse beyond ordinary platform sharing.

9. Our charitable commitment

Metal Velvet separately donates 5% of coffee sales to Breakthrough T1D under its charitable commitment. This contribution does not reduce your commission and is not an additional charge to customers. Do not imply that you represent Breakthrough T1D, that it endorses you, or that a customer purchase entitles the customer to a charitable tax receipt. Use only approved donation statements and charity branding.

10. Privacy and independence

We use account, payment and referral information to operate the program, review attribution, prevent misuse and make payments, with GoAffPro and other service providers as described in the applicable privacy notices. Do not collect or request customer information unnecessarily or publish private order details. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to hello@metalvelvetcoffee.com.

Ambassadors participate independently and cannot bind Metal Velvet, accept orders or make commitments on its behalf. No employment, agency, partnership or guaranteed income is created by participation.

11. Changes and ending participation

Either party may end participation by written notice. We may suspend access while investigating suspected misuse and explain the reason where reasonably possible. After termination, stop using program links and supplied brand assets.

Valid commissions earned before termination remain payable after verification. For a final account closure, we will waive the CA$25 threshold and pay the eligible remaining balance within 60 days after verification and receipt of valid payment details. Termination alone does not erase earned commissions. Renewal commissions on orders placed after termination cease unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We will give at least 30 days’ email notice of material changes to commission rates, payout rules or these terms, except where faster action is required by law or to address fraud or security. Changes apply prospectively and do not reduce valid commissions already earned. You may end participation if you do not accept a change.

12. Questions and governing law

Contact hello@metalvelvetcoffee.com about the program, payments or disputes. We will first try to resolve concerns directly and in good faith.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Subject to mandatory applicable law, disputes may be brought before the courts of Ontario.
